About the Role

As a Cablebolt Operator at the Federation Project, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently carrying out cablebolting activities to support underground development and production. You will operate specialised cablebolting equipment, follow site ground support plans, and contribute to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate cablebolting equipment in accordance with safety and site standards
  • Install ground support systems following geotechnical plans
  • Conduct pre-starts, inspections, and basic maintenance checks
  • Work collaboratively with development, production, and geotechnical teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety procedures
  • Contribute to a positive and proactive team culture

About You

  • Previous experience as a Cablebolt Operator (essential)
  • Underground hard‑rock mining experience
  • Strong safety focus and ability to work to strict ground support standards
  • Ability to work on a rotating 2/2 days/nights roster
  • Valid driver’s licence and relevant mining competencies
